Since I have been gone for so long I'd love to know what it is that you would want to read about and what you want me to write?
It would be great if you could leave in the comments what it is that you would like to see..
My first proper post will return again tomorrow!

Everyday drug store make-up

On a day to day basis I tend to use a mixture of drugstore and high-end make-up products,I thought to start with I would share with you the make-up I would use daily if I didn't have my high-end products!

So to start of with I would prime my face with Seventeen's skin wow prime and glow primer, I love this primer because it makes your make-up last longer and it adds a glow to your whole face.
Then I would mix L'oreal true match foundation in N1 ivory and maybelline fit me foundation in 120 classic ivory, I do this because true match is to light and fit me is to dark, the two foundations together make a brilliant base for any make up look and I would highly recommend trying the combination out!
I would then set that with the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in 003 Peach Glow, this makes the whole face more matte and adds a tiny bit of colour to brighten up the base.
Then I will go in with my Maybelinne The Eraser Eye concealer in light under my eyes, blending it in and then I would set that with the Soap and Glory one heck of a blot powder in Trenslucent.
So base down now onto the eyes!
For a primer on drugstore I would just use my rimmel wake up concealer in ivory, this is because it evens out the skin tone on the eyes and brightens it ready for any eye look (Not included in picture I couldn't find it this morning when I was doing my make-up and need to look for it)
Then I will either just use my Maybelinne colour tattoo 24hr in On & On bronze very lightly for an all over eye look or I will go in my MUA undressed palette, this has a lot of warm toned colours and you can get so many looks out of it and I'm pretty sure I paid less than £5 for it!!
I would then skip eyeliner on a day to day basis as I just can't get used to it so only wear it when I feel it is really needed to add to a look!
So then onto mascara, I use two different mascaras on a day to day basis, even though I own many I just don't seem to mix it up as much as I would like. So the first one that I use is the Maybelinne Lash sensation mascara which like many beauty bloggers will say I prefer mine when it is a little dried up because then it doesn't clump your eyelids together as much and is a lot easier to work with, I then use my Max Factor 2000 Calorie Waterproof mascara to add length and really make the eyelashes pop!
Then I would continue on with my face using the Boujois Bronzing powder to contour and bronze - this is the best drugstore bronzer I have ever tried! I normally wouldn't use a blush if I was using all drugstore as I have never managed to find one I really like the look of!
Then I would use my MUA highlighter in Pink shimmer to finish of the look.
Then just as I am about to leave my house I would set the whole look again with the soap and glory powder!!
Bronzer and Highlight show below, ignore how dirty looking the bronzer is!!

If you guys would like to request any blog posts please let me know in the comments! :)

Soap and Glory the Perfect 10 Palette Review

So i thought I would write this post today and the beauty product I am going to talk about is limited edition to Christmas time so will no longer be available after Christmas and Decemeber are finished! That is the Soap & Glory The Perfect 10 palette.

So from left to right we have:
Moon mist, Minky, Nudecomer, Copper, Toasty, Damsel, Cream Soda, Choccy, Plumtious and Smoulder.

My first thoughts after swatching these onto the skin, were that Moon mist, Minky and Nudecomber had very little if any pigmentation, infact the whole palette seemed to follow the trend of the closer to the right it was; the more pigmentation it would have. Personally I would only ever use Moon mist and Minky as brow bow highlight colours anyway so the lack of pigmentation is great for me as they are shimmer and they highlight what I want them to. Very dissapointed with Nudecomber though as it could be a perfect all over lid shade when you look at it in the palette, the swatch translates when you use it on the lid and little to no colour comes of; maybe this is because I have very light skin tone and it is a light colour so maybe somebody of a darker skin tone could work wonders with this colour!
So in this palette there is 2 matte colours; nudecomber and toasty. I feel that toasty works wonders as a transition colour and looks amazing pared with any of the other colours in the palette, to real make a shimmery eye look a little more everyday. There is also a lot of fallout with some of these colours, so having to apply them before I have done my face is something I don't always want to mess around with and have time to do so can be a hassle and un-needed agro..
For this palette to be amazing in my eyes I would love for there to be more neutral shades, as the only colours that have any colour pay of really are the darker purple and blue.
I would also love for there to be a matte highlight colour or a matte black you could use as an eyeliner colour so you could use this palette on its own for the full look!
Aside all of that, packaging, price point and shades themselves for a drugstore eyeshadow palette I think this one is great, the packaging alone is beautiful, which would make you in a shop want to look at it! Price point £16 from boot.com and also included in their Christmas 3 for 2 which makes it even more of a steal item.... while you are out treating everyone else at Christmas you could even pick up a new palette for yourself with no worries of breaking the bank!
Colour pay of I think for drugstore is good, I mean who has a highend make-up palette and they don't like the pay of on some of the colours or even how some of the colours look but they still paid the price? I certainely do so the fact that this one is so much cheaper makes it even better! I think as a limited edition item this palette is great and I think even if you hardly use it or it no where near compares to your palettes you already own, for the price you can't go wrong!
In my opinion every one should own this palette, soap and glory do some of the best make-up out there and this palette doesn't disappoint.

First post

After years of wanting to start a blog dedicated to beauty, make-up and all things lovely I have finally bitten the bullet and decided now was the best time to start.... Hoping to do reviews on make-up, show new bits and tell you all about the make-up I find works and the make-up I find doesn't. A long with skin care and all other things we use on a daily basis to make ourselves feel nicer! I will be mostly dedicated to telling you my opinions on make-up, with the odd other post in there.
After years of watching gurus on you tube and reading lots of different beauty blogs it has made me want to be able to put my opinion out there, or even just something I can look back on in years to come and see how much I change my opinions and how much my collection changes and grows! Even if only one person reads what I think and it helps them that is all I want, to be able to help one person to make the best decision for themselves!
